In this episode I am all about trying to convince you use this time of coronavirus crisis to take time some time off therefore build your immune system towards more strength.

It’s easy to get overworked when we work online because we want to use this time to help others and gain more visibility. But let’s not forget, it’s a fragile time. Therefore, remember to take care of yourself and your loved ones during this time.

Stay safe, stay positive. A few words in French from my son to end with the episode will hopefully put a smile on your face too!

Episode 3: Crisis Management & Stepping up as a Leader

They say a true measure of a leader is how they lead you through a crisis. In this episode I talk about crisis management amidst the coronavirus pandemic and how to use this time to step up as a mindful leader.

It’s a perfect time for all CEOs to sit down, slow down, be aware of what’s happening and reflect on your business, how it’s led, how it’s operated, about your products and services and your message to the world. It’s time to rethink, and restructure your business to make it crisis-proof as much as possible. Not only for this particular crisis, though it is a huge one… but you could think of other conditions where you imagine your business could suffer. Make a mindmap of your thoughts and considerations. Evaluate in terms of likelihood as much as you can. This will give you clarity on how you need to diversify your portfolio, i.e. services and products you offer, to make sure your business will not be influenced (or will be to a limited extent) by a crisis like we have today. Prioritize and Implement your strategies immediately.

It’s also a time to take real good care of your virtual team.

Make sure you speak to your team every day – and not about checking the regular work but rather caring about their situation and how they are doing. See what they fear and how you can help them overcome the stress. Accommodate their exceptional requests if you can. Even if you have an integrator and you would not otherwise call your team that often, do that on a daily basis, now it is important. This is where true leaders will be visible.

I have been thinking about how I can be of to you all during this time of a crisis, and I decided to do a few things:

  1. I am preparing a guide with 6 steps for better crisis management. I will be putting it on my website (https://urszulacoaching.com) and social media for you to use to make sure you use this opportunity to make better decisions for the future of your business and to be the kind of leader that you yourself would love to follow.
  2. I will be 3 part series of recordings on how to manage your virtual team in easy steps that I will also make available for you on my site
  3. I will be giving away free coaching calls for you if you need some help in leading up in your business and with your team this time of crisis. You can book a free call on my website: https://urszulacoaching.com/book-a-free-call/

Please stay safe, stay human, it’s your time to lead.

Episode 2: Why should you scale your business?

In this episode of the SpeakupLeadup Show I will talk to you about the importance of scaling your business. Businesses, whether digital or not that are not growing… are basically running the risk of failing in the long run… companies which don’t strategise on how to scale, hire and exercise a bigger impact simply cannot become sustainable, lasting enterprises that survive decades to come.

This being said, we as women should be doing our business our way, and if we really truly desire to scale and grow our baby company, change the mindset from the solo-preneur to the leader CEO and step into that role truly and fully, we don’t need to compromise on the fastest, the quickest, the dirties way of doing things… no. We can scale in line with our values, our intentions and personal motivations and most of all we can determine how we want to get there by putting a strategic plan and act from the CEO and leader perspective of a business owner we want to become starting today, right now!
